Pony Training and Development

Thoughtful development for future champions.

At Rose Pony Equestrian, we specialize in the careful development of young and green ponies — creating calm, confident, and capable partners for the show ring and beyond.

We do not currently offer training services for outside ponies. Instead, we focus exclusively on ponies we hand-select for their temperament, athletic potential, and suitability for young riders. Each pony enters a tailored, one-on-one training program designed to bring out their best — with kindness, consistency, and a strong foundation in both flatwork and manners.

Our training process includes:

• Professional groundwork and in-hand handling

• Under-saddle education with an emphasis on softness, rhythm, and adjustability

• Exposure to a variety of riders, environments, and age-appropriate challenges

• Positive introduction to ring etiquette, simple courses, and show prep

We take pride in producing ponies that not only perform but take care of their riders — ponies that are educated, forgiving, and truly enjoyable to bring along.
